Week 1 Tasks

Week 2

Task 1: This week, Mr Martin want us to edit a video. But different is, we have to trim the video to what we need first then only combine it into a complete video. During the process, we have to listen all the video clips first then we have to cut it to the duration we need. Then, we also learn a new effects which is called 'Cross dissolve', this help the object disappeared slowly and it looks real than straight away disappeared.

Task 2: Mr Martin gave us another task which is we have to shoot 8 different angle of videos and combine it together using Premiere Pro. Other than that, we had to add caption for each angle of videos.

For this task, I find my mother as my model and we go to a park for shooting.

Week 3

Audio dubbing

Task: Mr Martin gave a video without audio and a script in a Drive folder. Then, we have to record our own voice-over to dub the talking part of the video. He gave us a clips from movie "Soul" 2020. Other than that, we have to also find some sound effects from the internet and put it into the video clips.

MV Video

Task: Mr Martin wants us to shoot a short music video. We have to form a 3 person group and choose a song to dance. Then, we have to pick a part to dance and one of the part is three of us dance together. This video should have contain several angle of videos such as wide shot, medium shot, medium close-up and so on.

Week 5

Task: Based on the week 4 lecture notes, this week we had to go to school to shoot a video (group). Then, we have to also trim and sync the video with audio to create the final video.

Week 6

Sound Shaping

Task: this week, based on what we learned from the lecture slide, Mr Martin gave us audio files and with a tutorial video, we had to use the files given to make sound shaping. We are given 5 different scenes and based on the scene, we had to create the accurate sound that suits the certain environment.

Week 7

Task: We are given a file from Mr Martin, there are a few of video clips. We have to trim the video with using ripple edit tool, and keep it around 30 seconds. Other than that, we have to also add title and credit in that video. By adding the credit, we should also apply the roll function.
