LECTURES
Week 1:
Mr Mike briefed us about the tasks and the module about. He said that for this project we will be dealing with people who are outside of our design school. Either with other students or with companies. We will have to design and present our own based on their requirement or goals. This module is group working and we will have to group with at least 3 specialisations in a group to make sure we can unleash our ability in the field.
For this week, we have to:
1. Form a group
2. Start doing research on the respective topic
3. Compare with competitors
4. Analysis of the functions

Week 2:
User Personas: A semi-fictional character based on your current (or ideal) target users
TASK 1 //
On the first day, we must find our teammates with different specializations. Other than that, we should also choose our topic.

Week 1: Research the topic
- Research other similar function apps
- Research on the mini-games on helping mental health problems (proof of working or not working)
- Research on the avatar pets on helping mental health problems (proof of working or not working)
- Research on the mental health topic(causes, results, and ways to help)
Week 2: Deeper Research
- Why is the target audience of 12-25 years old been set?
- What are the factors that lead the youth to a mental health problem?
- What are the ways to calm them down?
- More research on real pets and see how real pet help heal the owner.
During week 2, we had a meeting with computer science students on campus. We have a discussion to let each other know what we are working for and also what to expect. Other than that, we also discuss cooperating with our timeline so that we are able to get things done on time.
Week 3: Analyse
After getting the feedback from Mr Mike, we then distributed the workload and start working on it. Jia Yet and I are assigned to analyse the flowchart of previous work of computer science students.
After that, we decided to also make our own flowchart.

Week 4: Analyse Flowchart & Research
Mr Mike has told us that Angsana Health has now determined the target audience: College/University Students with suicidal tendency
Hence, we have to do research based on the target audience, and how mental health app helps the target audience. Other than that, we have to do research on whether the mental health app should use an app interface or a virtual pet world interface(game interface).

Week 5: Prepare for Proposal
For this week, we have to prepare a proposal for our meeting with computer science students. After that, we have to also prepare some wireframes for them so that they can understand why we choose to use a user interface instead of a virtual pet interface.

FEEDBACK
Week 2: Mr Mike said that overall our research is quite good but it's just that the avatar pet has a bit lack of information. After that, he also asks us to research a more profound part. He also asked us to prepare our user personas as soon as possible so that we could begin to prepare the interview question.
Week 3: Mr Mike said that for this week our task can focus on research design user interface and also we can analyse the flowchart of the previous work of computer science students.
Week 4: Mr Mike has told us the target audience set by Angsana Health and for the following week, we have to do a case study on a specific group of people. Then, we have to also do research on whether using an app interface works better or using a game interface in the mental health app. After that, we should also run a test on the Figma prototype that was prepared by computer science students.
Week 5: Mr Mike said that we shall start justifying our thoughts and we can find more research to support our perspective. Then, we have to arrange a meeting with computer science students to make the final decision and propose to Angsana Health.
REFLECTIONS
Week 2:
For this week, I start has some ideas of what we are actually doing and we are slowly on the right track. My leader has distributed us work to do so that we all have our job respectively.
Week 3:
For this week, I felt a bit overwhelmed as the information we received was different from what computer science students told us. The research we have done is also not accurate because the information we received is not updated yet. What we can do now is continue deeper research on our topic and we have to figure it out with Mr Mike on the following week.
Week 4:
For this week, we felt exhausted as the research that we did partially cannot be used as we have been told that our target audience has changed. This is frustrating as we have to back to the first stage which is to do research from the beginning. But, I am glad that when we have some different opinions towards the research or the topic, Mr Mike will first listen to our opinion and try to discuss it with the computer science lecturer.
Week 5:
After our research on week 5, we have several opposite opinions with the determined ideas. Hence, Mr Mike said that we can try to discuss with them and see whether we can make any changes or not. Although I feel that we are still stuck at the very beginning stages and cannot move on, sir said that this is all our process and It will be all recorded.
