Today , Mr Fauzi give us a brief about our next project which is poster design.

Posters: a conventional medium to convey information to the target audience , can be cluttered or straightforward

** Note: Do not have too many colors , typefaces , images or animated figures in one poster or else it will confused the viewers**

Function of poster : generating awareness on an issue or conveying a brand message and luring the audience into buying products or services.

Before you start brainstorming the poster , you have to think about the purpose you make this poster.

1. Is it a poster for brand awareness?
2. Is it a poster for advertisement?

3. Is it an Public Service Announcement poster?

Public service announcement(PCA)poster : a message that all about social issues that have to share it to the public

Once you narrow down the scope , you can start to do:

1. Do research about your topic

2.Define your concept

3.Start to develop your design projects

Exercises : Hearst Mansion 

We have to use the picture given to make photo manipulation. 
Based on the video tutorials given, we have to first clear out the background of Shazam before we put it into another picture.

Then , we can put it into our pictures and start to drag it into correct position. After that, we can add some adjustment such as match color , brightness/contrast to make Shazam more match with the picture. Then we can also add some shadows to make it more realistic. Lastly, we can add reflection to make it looks real.

Based on the knowledge that we learned up here , we have to take a picture of ourselves then using the same method to put ourselves into the picture.

I stand in front of the white wall so that I can cut it out easier. Then , I just redo it just like what I learned from the previous exercise (shazam).
