LECTURES

After Effects 

• 2.5D animation software used for animation, visual effects and motion picture compositing
• Used in film, TV and web video creation. 
• Used in post-production phase
• Has hundreds type of effects that can be used to manipulate imagery, which allow you to combine layers of video and images into the same scene. 

Motion Graphics - works by manipulating vector and rasterized art to create and tell a story.

1. Compositing Layers in Photoshop
2. All the layers need to be arrange and rename
3. import elements such as images, video, vector and more into After Effects.

Notes: All the layer elements need to be organized and synchronized to the external software platforms such as Photoshop & Illustrator.

After Effects files does not embed its media, it links to it.

INSTRUCTIONS 

For this week's exercise, we were given a photoshop file that contain a photo manipulation and we have to import it to Adobe After Effects and edit it into a 15 seconds video.
