LECTURES
Color theory: the science and art of using color. It explains how humans perceive color; and the messages colors communicate artistically and emotionally.
CMYK: cyan, magenta , yellow, black is the primary colors of printing
RGB: used to display on the computer screen
Hue: the most basic of color terms and denotes an object’s color.
Shade: a hue to which black has been added.Tint: a hue to which white has been added. For example, red + white = pink.
Tone: a color to which black and white (or grey) have been added.1. Monochromatic: is a one-color scheme that is created using different tones of that one

2. Analogous : 3 colors located right next to each other on the color wheel.

4. Split-Complementary: involves the use of three colors. Start with one color, find its complement and then use the two colors on either side of it.

INSTRUCTIONS
Project 2A Exercise 2 Recoloring Black and White- Advanced level
Part 1
In this exercise, we will be given a black and white image and also two color photos. We should use the color in the photos given and recoloring the black and white photo.

First , we paste the color photos into the b&w photo by using Photoshop. Then, we can use the eyedropper tool to select the color and the use brush tool to draw it out as a palette.
Then, we use the quick selection tool to choose out the part we want and make a layer mask. We can also refine the mask after that so that It will become smoother and better.
Then, after refining the mask, we can add a solid color and apply the layer mask into the solid color.

Then we do the same steps on skin, lips, teeth, and the cloth.

In this part , we have to use the knowledge that we learnt in the exercise above and recolor another photo. We will be given various photos to choose and I choose this.
