PROJECT 1

Instructable Infographics poster (20%)

Task: Create an infographic poster for ONE recipe selected from Pasta Grannies
Study one video, breakdown and chunk the preparation and cooking process into an instructable poster. Try to capture each Grandma’s personality and unique dish identity in your poster as part of the narrative structure
Timeline: Week 4-Week7
Poster Size: 1240x1750 px

Illustration
I divided the poster into 3 parts, the first part is steps to make pasta. Then, the second part is steps to make the sauce. Then, last part is the finish dish. I traced out all the ingredients and also some simple visual art to explain the steps. I also added some text to explain what I am illustrating.

REFLECTIONS
I have learned that how to collect information in the video and utilize it into a poster. I also learned to create a neat and clear composition so that my audience can clearly find the information that they wanted in the poster. As a designer, we have to design things that benefit our audience. It is our job to transform the information into a visual form.
