PROPOSAL 

Week 1

Task: We have to select a topic, within the realms of multimedia, art and design, and visual culture, in which we are interested to study in, by focusing in a specific area in that topic. It is important to consider research in areas of specialization in which we intend to pursue in the higher semester of this program (New Media(UI & UX), Entertainment Design, Graphic Design and Animation & Visual Effect). 

Requirement: 

1. Identify a Research Problem within a topic of research
2. Write a Research Rational
3. Write a Problem Statement pertaining to the research problem
4. Identify relevant Research Objective(s) - ROs
5. Formulate a Research Question(s) – RQs pertaining to the Research Objective(s) – Ros
6. Place a Title of the Research

FEEDBACK

Week 2 (7/4/22):

Dr Hayati said that I had to narrow down the area or field so that it could be researchable. She mentioned that every animation has their purpose to be in the specific application or website, for example, to create an better engagement with users. And the purpose has a keyword which is 'Needed'. She said that I have to find out the problem occurs when animation in user interface. For example, It doesn't create a positive results to the users. In conclusion, there are too many different kind of application, I should focus on a specific field and find out what will problem occurs when animation in the application.

Week 3 (14/7/22):

Dr Hayati said that my research problem have to be change. She said that my objectives was too big area and I have to narrow it down. She also said that I have to read more articles and also read back what have I written so that I can refined a better proposal.

Week 4 (21/7/22):

Today has a Library literacy workshop so it has no tutorial class.

REFLECTIONS

I think the hardest part in this project is we first have to define what should we do research on and what problem occurs in this specific topic. Then, we also have to find some related article and we have to read through it and find some important parts. I feel a bit overwhelming when I couldn't decide which topic I should focus but after show my draft 1 to Dr Hayati , I have a better view to the topic that I choose. She also give us many advices and I have learned a lots from it.
