FINAL PROJECT: STOP MOTION

Rational: I like this because It use a simpler way to make the stop motion. It is a process of making fruit salad and I found that it was interesting.

Rationale: This video also uses simpler ways to create stop motion. I like how they visualize those vegetables into some orchestra instruments and they look cute.

Rationale:  I like the video because although it’s short I can understand the whole storyline. They visualized it very well and their sound effects are good too. This is a very creative stop motion.

First Draft

Basically I tried to make 3 beverages at first but then I realized that making 2 beverages is already sufficient. I made oranges juice and also butterfly pea flower lemon tea. The video was the process of making it and other than just making the juice, I also playing some composition using the ingredients.

FEEDBACK

Week 10: Mr. Martin said that he shall see my storyboard on the week forward only he can give me more feedback on it.

Week 11: Mr. Martin said that the blender part could skip as it will be boring. Then, I can also add some peeling oranges scene so that It looks more fun. 

Week 12:

Mr. Martin said that one of the part shooting angle was not good because it cannot clearly show the internal part. The oranges part should be shorten a bit. 

Week 13:

Mr. Martin said that overall is almost complete but I could add more sound effects. He also suggest me some sound effects that suitable for my video.

REFLECTIONS

Throughout the semester, I really learn many knowledges of shotting and also audio editing. I like the final outcome of the video because I think it's interesting and easy to learn. I think the sound effects was also the important elements in this video as it brings a sense of realistic. I learn a lot from all shooting practice and I realized that shooting stop motion wasn't not easy at all as it really time-consuming. 30seconds of video could takes up to 400 pictures and we can't make a bigger move compare to previous take. But seeing the outcome, I felt very satisfied with it.
