INSTRUCTION

Week 1:

Today, Dr Hayati brief us about the module overview and also go through the task and projects that we need to complete. Then, she also explained the assignments one by one and tell us what should be shown next week.

DRAFT DISSERTATION

Week 1

Week 3 (Methodology)

After listening to the feedback, I started to review back the articles and find their similarities. I also started to write the methodology part.

Week 4 (Findings)

After listening to the feedback, I found some articles that related to the methodology, and cite some relevant information in the introduction of the methodology part. Then, I also started to write the findings part and also added a summary to the literature review part.

After listening to the feedback, I did some necessary amendments and start working on the discussion part.

I started to look at my dissertation as a reader and try to find out which part has issues. Then, I started the conclusion and abstract part. two parts were the beginning and the end of the dissertation it was necessary because the reader will read the abstract part first.

Final Submission of Draft Dissertation

FEEDBACK

Week 2: Dr Hayati said that the matrix is fine but the column I missed is the similarity column where we can compare and contrast articles. Then the sequences of the literature review can be reordered as now the working title and sub-headers were too many gaps and it was not related. Dr Hayati also suggests modifying the working title.

Week 3: Dr Hayati suggested adding a column on similarities and differences so that I could write the literature review more critically as now my current literature review was too shallow and not critical. She also asks me to do some amendments to the keys of the literature review.

Week 4: Dr Hayati said that for now my methodology part is too short and I shall elaborate and add more descriptions. I should also cite and do more research on methodology. Then, for the literature review, the part that I missed out on is the summary part of the literature review which I had to add.

Week 5: Dr Hayati suggested that I could elaborate more on the reason I choose to do a survey. Then, I can add some reasons why I choose both quantitative and qualitative methods. Then, I shall select the question to put in the survey and there’s not necessary that I have to put every question that I ask in the findings part.

Week 6: Dr Hayati said that my discussion introduction part has some issues in that she doesn’t understand what am I trying to say and she asks me to rewrite it. Then, she asked me to keep working on the following part.

REFLECTIONS

Throughout the whole process of writing this dissertation, it was definitely tough and not an easy task. But when seeing the results, I am glad that I have walked all the way here. I have learned lots of new skills in the progress including writing techniques and research techniques.
