Book Cover Design 1:
I was thinking of making the user hold his phone and the phone will "light" up
the place and the title will be there.
Based on the feedback given, I changed the idea.

Book Cover Design 2:
After doing some research on user engagement-related illustrations, I then
have an idea for the book cover design. I want to design a finger touching the
app in the screen to indicate the engagement between the user and the app.

Design Elements:
Then, I also designed some elements that suit the pages in the visual book.
The colour of the elements also matched the colour palette that I
wanted.

Layout Design:
For the layout of the book, I have also done some research on it to design a
good readability layout of the book. The title or heading will be mostly on
the left so that the reader can read from left to right. Then, I also pay
attention to the leading and font size to keep consistency.

FEEDBACK
Week 11:
Dr Hayati said that the dissertation has several parts that need to be
amended before I start doing the visual design. For example, the research
conceptual framework is missing, figure numbering was wrong and so on. Then,
for the design part, she wants me to keep exploring as my illustration idea
now was not really related to my topic.
Week 12:
Dr Hayati said that the dissertation has several parts that need to be amended
before I start doing the visual design. For example, the citation and
reference list have some issues, missing the conclusion of some sections and
so on. Then for the design part, she said I shall proceed and make it done by
this week.
REFLECTIONS
Overall I think this process is tough as this process is very time-consuming
and it required us to pay many efforts to complete it. I learned a lot of
knowledge and skills when I am using the Indesign app. I learned to do the
layout and composition of text and images. I think this could benefit me for
future work too.
It is glad to see the outcome. I felt satisfied when seeing the outcome.
