PROJECT PROPOSAL
Task // Students are required to come up with an experience design project
from a subject/topic of their choice. This can be anything from screen
experience to physical space experience. They are required to create a
professional experience design proposal document that explains their project
idea and how will the experience be for the user.
Idea Thinking :
For the first week, we are required to think of at least 3 ideas that can be
used to develop Augmented Reality (AR). Based on the seniors' work examples,
I learned more about Augmented Reality.
For the first idea, I was thinking of making an Augmented Reality app that
can let people know the medicine's functions, the dosage of use, and the
ingredients by scanning the packaging of the medicine. The reason for
creating this is because I found that there was mostly medicine that didn't
mention its functions and patient would not know unless they ask for a
doctor.

Based on the feedback given, I made some changes and started to finalize my
proposal and record the presentation video. I added more points to enhance the idea of making an AR medicine scanner.

FEEDBACK
Week 2:
In class exercise: Mr Razif said that the solution to crowded people
queuing for the games in a theme park could be creating a board in front
of each game that indicates the number of people who are waiting inside
and the estimated waiting time so that people would be alert and they can
go for the game that lesser waiting time. So far overall is good.
Week 4:
For the proposal: Mr Razif said that the first idea is workable but for
the feature, I shall add features other than giving information about the
medicine. Besides, I should also explain and elaborate more on this idea
so that it can work properly. Then, the greeting card idea can be my
backup plan.
Week 6:
For the proposal, Mr Razif ask to put in more visual ideas that can be
used so that it would not be just informative. Then, I suggest that maybe
I could add 3D organ parts in the ar app so that people would understand
the medicine will cure which part of their body. Mr Razif suggest that
instead of making a specific organ part, I could add a human body in a
dimmer colour and highlight the sick part in another brighter colour to
indicate that. He also asked me to certain the information part first
because that is the more important purpose of the app.
REFLECTIONS
In this exercise, I brainstormed a few ideas for the AR app and I have learned that creating an AR app was not an easy task as the AR app is more focused on the visual and also interaction with the user.
